John Geery

Two things appeal to me most about my craft:  the satisfaction of creating a beautiful photograph, and that it brings pleasure into other people’s lives.

John David Geery’s roots in photography began while a journalism student at the University of Utah. He began taking photographs to accompany his articles.

John’s photographic technique and equipment have evolved over the years, adapting to his move from the west back to his native east. He considers the tripod his most important piece of equipment.
