Please help us with our 2017 Fundraising Campaign...

Dear Friend,

We need your help to support the Arts and Crafts in Vermont. Please join or renew a membership to Frog Hollow, The Vermont Craft Center.

Frog Hollow has had an exciting and successful year that has meant significant contributions to both Vermont artisans and community arts programming.

  • The new Frog Hollow Vermont Artisan’s Grant provides grants from $200 to $2,000 to emerging and well-established artisans working in areas of traditional craft for artistic development, equipment, and materials.  To learn more about this project please Click Here

  • The new Frog Hollow cART, outdoors on Church Street, allows Frog Hollow artisans to demonstrate the intriguing methods they use to make their craft; the public has been fascinated. To learn more about this project and its funding needs please Click Here

  • A Frog Hollow silent auction and craft sale raised over $15,000 for Vermont Artisan Stacie Mincher who was incapacitated in early 2016 by a major stroke accidentally inflicted during brain tumor removal surgery. • Extraordinary exhibitions and public lectures have featured weaving, non-traditionally made prints, and the use of fly tying as art therapy for disabled veterans, to name just a few examples! Click Here to view videos of some of these lectures.

  • We released a PBS pilot episode highlighting Vermont Artisans showcasing the diversity of work being created across the landscape of Vermont. To learn more about this project, its funding needs and to see the pilot episode please Click Here.

  • Our Church Street and online galleries make it possible for people around the world to purchase Vermont artisans’ work and earned Frog Hollow the 2016 Daysie Award as The Best Place to Buy a Unique Gift from Seven Days.

Artisan support and community initiatives are essential to build and sustain the arts. Frog Hollow does not receive any funding from the State, so it’s up to folks like us to be sure these programs survive and expand.

Please consider becoming a member or making a tax deductible donation in support of these Frog Hollow programs.

Take care,

The parent organization of the Frog Hollow Gallery is the Frog Hollow Craft Association, a 501C3 non profit arts organization. Since 1971 we have provided education programs for children, young artists and community members as well as development opportunities for Vermont artists and artisans. Please help us continue our efforts in bringing support to the craft community of Vermont while educating the public in regards to artisan processes.
