Al Stirt is a self taught, internationally recognized woodturner, who has been working with wood since 1970. He has traveled around the world giving workshops on the art and craft of woodturning. His work is recognized in many public and private collections, including the American Craft Museum in New York and the White House Permanent Craft Collection in Washington, D.C.
