The objective to make craft and art part of daily life inspired Detlev to design unique pepper and salt mills using domestic woods locally sourced in New England as well as exotic species.

These mills are intended to please and appeal to visual impression and even more importantly to our sense of touch....and of course to grind pepper and salt.
