Maggie grew up on a fruit and vegetable farm in Ohio where “art making and fabrics were a part of play”.  It is also where she gained a strong work ethic and learned production as well as to watch the signs of the natural world.  Maggie painted through her early years, earning a BFA at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
