Alicja is a ceramic artist working in Waitsfield Vermont. She grew up in Poland where she attended a Fine Arts School, and later immigrated to the United States where she graduated with a Studio Arts degree in ceramics and printmaking from Nazareth College in Rochester NY. Alicja’s hand built ceramics are one of a kind, contemporary objects and functional pieces. She is often inspired by nature, by architecture, Polish traditional arts and by clay itself. She uses mid-fire stoneware and all her funcional pieces are food and dishwasher safe.
