Jodi Whalen is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Burlington, Vermont. She uses the bright, playful medium of screen printing to bring life to the everyday joys of her Vermont experience.

As a child in rural Pennsylvania, she was heavily influenced by her grandfather, who was a skilled sign painter and silkscreen artist. Jodi worked as a sign maker for IKEA, and later as a graphic designer for Magic Hat Brewing. Her exploration into abstract painting led to many exhibits, but her love for quirkiness and color brought her back to her roots of illustration and printmaking. She works out of her print shop studio in the historic South End Arts District in Burlington.
