Norton has been carving full time since 1975. His inspiration comes from his love of all wildlife. His style has always been simple and whimsical. Although best known for his wood carved dogs, he has studied and carved hundreds of species of birds, animals and plants, hopefully telling their stories, too. Exhibits at his gallery now highlight his early works and his “Rescue Dog” sculptures (dogs needing homes). He has shown at the Burlington Frog Hollow Gallery since the early 1990s.
